Large Hole Beads: What I Use & Why
Hi Friend,

A fellow beadmaker asked me how I did my big hole beads without heavy mandrels. My answer was involved & complicated, so I told her I would write a post about it.

It was a bumpy road for me finding the right tool cause I make my beads in the center of the mandrel.

I tried working on the end of a mandrel since that was the most available type of mandrels. It was horrible for me! And I spent a fortune on tools.

More searching & exploring and I finally found a solution.

This post is all about my struggles & discoveries! Lots of pics of what I tried and what mandrels I use now. LOTS of inside info in this post!
Big hole mandrels are fun and open the door for a fresh direction for you to explore. I hope you give them a try. I got some pics of my beads in the post, too.

Enjoy!
