Today is the first day of Ramadan - when our Muslim brothers and sisters fast from dawn to dusk.
During Ramadan, many hotels and restaurants offer iftar (break-fast meals) in the evening.
In Malaysia, Ramadan (just like other festivals) is shared across all ethnic/religious groups. In fact, Ramadan dinner is a nice way for fellow Malaysians to mingle around. :-)
