Subject: maybe Napoleon Hill was wrong Friend....

Morning Friend,

This morning I read a line in the good book that was sort of profound to me.

In the story of Cain & Able, it says that 'Cain was wroth and his countenance fell'.

Of course we probably all know what happened next... He did the unthinkable and murdered his younger brother, as the story goes.

Before the act, was a shift in his attitude of heart. Wroth means angry, and his countenance falling, indicates a look downward vs upward.

In personal development circles we think of this in terms of positive mental attitude versus a negative one.

Cain shifted to the negative side of the coin of life, on the inside, and then that negative emotion transmuted into something terrible on the outside.

It seems, both from the lesson of this story, and from my own personal journey, that our attitude of heart and mind has a lot to do with the results we experience in our lives.

The great Jim Rohn used to say, 'if your story ever gets in someone's book, make sure they use it as an example, not a warning.'

It seems to me that Cain's story is a serious warning, as to the direction we can head if we become 'wroth' or let our countenances fall.

The flipside of this is to cultivate another quality of heart and mind within ourselves.

In my studies of success over the years, I've always thought and been taught that 'Definite Purpose' was the first law of success.

The more I've pondered this, the more I'm leaning to the possibility that this could be wrong.

I explain in this video.

Merry Christmas Friend and thank you for being on my email list.
