Who need stars??? The star rating system was designed to measure the quality of hotels. One star rating means a disgusting illegal dirty hole, five-star rating means Oprah Winfrey stayed here and was happy with the quality. Europe and U.S. use different hotel star rating system then Thailand but we can make a general description:
One-Star Rating: The Bare Necessities
Two-Star Rating: A Few Extras
Three-Star Rating: Moving On Up
Four-Star Rating: Upscale Comfort
Five-Star Rating: G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S.
Hotel ratings are often used to classify hotels according to their quality. There is a wide variety of rating schemes used by different organizations around the world and every country can have different standards.
Our golden advice to win over all of this ratings is to call the hotel boutique. Specific rules for a hotel to be called “boutique” are not given, but, as in every artistic or architectural style, there are at least some guidelines that are usually followed: small, independent, in a very trendy area, designer decor, with all the newest technological gadgets, offering local food, trendy and cool, lobby, restaurant and bar, friendly staff, personal approached.
And the small hotel we offer today comply with all previous factors to be called a boutique hotel. After get to know all of this: WHO NEED STARS???
