Subject: Nothing but rude Indians in Pattaya???

Hello Friend,
The Indians in Pattaya, there is a whole controversial around that subject with different opinions. “The Thaiger” title was recently “Nothing but rude Indians, Chinese and Arabs”. This was followed by locals who asked for the Americans who spend cash and behave well. In real estate we have Indian owners refusing to rent or sell rooms to fellow Indians what is basically racism but not really a legal point in Thailand. A lot of horror stories going around regarding Indian tourists in Thailand, from being loud and rude, to haggling and even harassing female restaurant and bar workers, and many other complaints. And in real estate the largest discount hunters are Indians coming up with a price for the property that barely covers the lawyers’ fees.

But let us face the facts, Indians have their own culture and being direct to the point, having bargaining as second nature and they now take over Walking Street with the largest and most successful discos are Indian owned with mainly Indian visitors all spending a lot of money every day of the week. As in every country, there are low class, mid class and high class people and unfortunately the low class catches the news and gossips. But a very large group of high end and rich Indians are the real money spenders in Pattaya and also the largest source of investors of all kinds. And money talks…. Let us welcome the Indians in Pattaya with open arms, despite their differences. Thailand and specially Pattaya has to grow and we need the Indians. Now they replace the disappearing Russians and Chinese dropping in numbers.

According to Siraphob Thanthong-Knight , Bloomberg, please not following good Indian news:
Indians spend 11% more per trip than average foreign visitors
Indian arrivals accelerated in recent months due to more direct flights, a visa waiver and, most importantly, increasing wealth.

The rapid expansion of Indian tourists at least 10 million are expected to arrive in 2028, a more than five-fold increase on 2018 visits.

India projected to overtake China as the world’s most populous nation in eight years

The question was: Pattaya, Nothing but rude Indians???
The answer is: Not all of them and we need them now more than ever before!!!
