Greenwich Choral Society will present two holiday concerts this season under the leadership of the Choral Society’s new Music Director and Conductor, Dr. Christine Howlett. "Truth, Light and Serenity" will be held at two locations: Christ Church in Greenwich and First Congregational Church in Old Greenwich. In addition to the traditional candlelight processional and seasonal carols, the Choral Society will perform Mozart’s Vespers, Vivaldi’s Magnificat and Joshua Jacobson’s Mi Zeh Y’maliel. The traditional December Holiday Concerts are a significant part of the community’s holiday celebrations.

The Norwalk Art Space will hold an open house and free community workshop this month with their resident artists, past and current. "Deck the Walls" features artists who will have original work and prints available. The community workshop allows participants to create their own piece of art to take home and Resident Artist McLee Mathias will DJ.

Westport Country Playhouse will present a Script in Hand playreading of “Warrior Class,” a drama at the crossroads of politics and morality. The play is written by Kenneth Lin, who began his career writing on Netflix’s “House of Cards,” and is directed by Mark Shanahan, curator of the Playhouse Script in Hand playreading series and also the Playhouse incoming artistic director.
