Subject: Total-body training in LESS than five minutes

Hi Friend,

Last Monday, we discovered how Matt Furey’s one movement workouts produced a crop of muscles on his body within six weeks and made him stronger than hell.

For anyone who missed it, I have attached a link for you below…

Continuing our theme from last time, I want to tell you about arguably the greatest one movement workout ever. And its name?

The dumbbell clean and press.

Just like Matt Furey’s barbell clean and jerk, the dumbbell clean and press is a powerhouse movement par excellence. A favourite exercise of Reg Park, John Grimek and a host of other lifting champs, this mighty move delivers terrific results, namely: bulk… power… shape.

I am convinced that a course of dumbbell training not only adds immeasurably to the strength of any lifter, but also provides you with a pair of arms and shoulders to stand comparison with anyone.

But don’t just take my word for it…

Charles Smith is one of the great writers in the history of The Iron Game. He is also a fan of the dumbbell clean and press and has this to say about the exercise:

“The use of dumbbells for building great power in the arms and shoulders is unsurpassed. And a wonderful ‘byproduct’ stemming from this use is the added strength of torso and thigh.”

So the dumbbell clean and press can be seen as a total-body exercise?

Here's Charles Smith again:

"When performed properly, the dumbbell clean and press works every single muscle in the body… and works it brutally hard."

Don’t have time to train?

No problem. Simply use this exercise as an abbreviated workout, by itself, when other matters are more pressing. It is easily possible to achieve a fabulous workout with this movement alone… and do it in LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES.

And, no. That is not a misprint... just a handful of minutes can provide you with one of the finest all-round strength and muscle building routines you can do.

And for any hardgainers out there, try it!
