Subject: Nibble on Cheese to Reduce Cardiac Risk

Hi Friend,

Brits are barmy about cheese. So it is no surprise to learn UK foodies munch through 700,000 tonnes of this dairy delight each year.

To picture this amount, imagine the Statue of Liberty…times thirty!

That’s right. You would have to line up America’s Great Lady thirty times to reach the same weight of cheese.

Aww, too bad this yummy foodstuff is so bad for you…

Or is it?

Well, many nutrition experts would suggest so. Yet surprisingly, the latest science findings say something entirely different.

In fact, if recent research is to be believed, it seems eating a portion of the good stuff isn’t only good for you, but could actually help reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes.

Figures show just 40 grams of cheese can slash the likelihood of developing heart disease by a whopping 14%. British scientists at Reading University are stunned, and say their findings put a question mark against years of public health advice on limiting dairy foods intake.

And that’s not all. Their findings were corroborated by experts at Soochow University in Suzhou, China.

Science bods pooled results from 15 earlier studies on cheese and heart risk, and discovered eating cheese frequently appeared to be beneficial for heart health rather than harmful.

But don’t go wolfing your Wensleydale like film favourites Wallace & Gromit just yet. Remember, you only need around 40g a day of this taste sensation to experience the full heart-health benefits.

And the best part? Your daily portion of dairy comes packed with protein to help build your body.

Until next time,
