Subject: MoneySKILL Matters: The All-New MoneySKILL Launches August 31!

New version of MoneySKILL launching at the end of this month!

August 2026

Over the past year, we’ve been hard at work developing the latest version of MoneySKILL® — and we are thrilled to announce that our newly updated platform will be live on Monday, August 31! Informed directly by user feedback and insights from a focus group of engaged MoneySKILL instructors, this release introduces a modernized design, interactive student engagement features, updated and new curriculum content, enhanced class management tools, and much more.

Rest assured, MoneySKILL’s core focus will remain the same: it will continue to be a 100% free and ad-free resource for educators, with the same intuitive and customizable class features that you value.

Read below for full details on what to expect during the launch and thank you for your ongoing commitment to financial education.

Sincerely,

Rhonda Ashburn

What to Expect with the New MoneySKILL Platform

  • Modernized Look & Feel: The new platform will feature a fresh, modern design alongside intuitive navigation tools for both instructors and students.

  • Revised Curriculum & New Content: Every MoneySKILL module will be refreshed with updated content, new question formats, redesigned reference tables, and a brand-new Charitable Giving module.

  • Interactive Student Badges: Instructors will have the option to enable digital badges to celebrate student milestones and boost course engagement.

  • Enhanced Class Management: New instructor tools will allow for more flexibility with class management, grade tracking, and course customization.

Launch Details & Transition

  • Launch Date & Downtime: To prepare for the new MoneySKILL release, the platform will undergo a brief period of downtime for maintenance during the weekend of August 29 – 30. The new version of MoneySKILL will be live and operational by early morning on Monday, August 31.

  • Seamless Transition for Existing Classes: Active MoneySKILL classes will automatically transition to the new interface without interrupting student progress or changing module content. Historical class data and grades will remain accessible.

  • New Classes (August 31 Onward): All new classes created on or after August 31 will automatically populate with the latest curriculum and class features.

  • Built-In Instructor Support: We have designed the updated MoneySKILL platform to be user-friendly and intuitive. Guided walk-throughs and a built-in instructor guide will help you navigate the new features easily. As always, direct assistance is available by reaching out to us at info@moneyskill.org.

We can’t wait for you and your students to experience the newest version of MoneySKILL! Whether you are returning for another school year or joining us for the first time, we are here to offer support to ensure this transition is as smooth as possible.
