My husband Martin and I opened Oaktree 14 years ago. It’s wild when we look back and how quickly time flies! We moved in end of May 2011, then one week later we had our first baby. One week after that Martin started doing acupuncture downstairs! I started seeing chiropractic patients 3 months later. What a wild ride!  This baby now just started high school. We’ve had 2 more kids, several renovations to expand the clinic and 6 years ago we finally had to move our family out as we were running out of clinic space downtown. Plus 2 more Oaktree clinics have opened since then  - wow! We are very blessed to have a team of extraordinary acupuncturists, chiropractors and reception team to make it all run.

We started Oaktree to help build deep roots for health and wellness for our patients. We have such a wonderful community of patients that have been with us for years and truly understand where chiropractic and acupuncture fit into the wellness lifestyle. We are so grateful to be part of this community. If you are newer to Oaktree and seeing this, we hope you are starting to feel part of the family we have created :)

I will admit, as a business owner, life and business gets overwhelming sometimes and it can get me down. It was a particularly tough year for me personally. However, all of you, our patients, make it so worthwhile to do what we do. I start work and forget anything else going on as you bring so much joy to us. I can’t tell you how many times we chat with our team after the shift, saying how great one of our new patients was, or gushing over a new little baby’s picture or sharing in the victories our patients are seeing. We love helping you be well and being part of your life.

Ok, I’m getting a little sappy….but before I started writing this I was reading our google reviews. We recently did a contest and asked for some reviews and wow, did it melt my heart to see the kind words. I hear compliments and nice things from our patients often, but seeing it written down is another level. Thank you!
