Subject: Building C-level IT careers: 4 emerging leaders share their stories

How T200 empowers women in IT

Through the #Tech4Good initiative we launched in conjunction with the podcast, we’ve had the privilege of supporting the development of emerging IT leaders by providing scholarships to TechLX, Ouellette & Associates’ 9-month IT leadership program. To date, we’ve committed over $400,000 in scholarships to three dozen incredible STEM nonprofits—including repeat recipients like Girls Who Code, NPower, YearUp, and T200, a testament to the outstanding work they’re doing to develop the next generation of tech leaders.

For my CIO Whisperers column, I had the pleasure of speaking with four remarkable women who received TechLX scholarships through T200:

  • Lavanya Bobba – Product Owner, The Hartford

  • Gela Guiuo – Digital & eCommerce Program Leader, Abbott

  • Emily (Pineiro) Hurff – Vulnerability Management Service Lead – Senior Manager, Zoetis

  • Corrine Ptacek – Manager – SMO-ITSM Catalog Service Manager, McDonald’s

Their journeys highlight the power of mentorship, peer connections, and continuous learning in developing future tech leaders. And these women are evidence that the future of technology leadership is undeniably bright!
