Subject: Would You Hire Your Own Business? 👀

Take this short test to see what your potential clients actually experience.

I've got a question, Friend. Would you hire your own business?

You know your business inside and out. You know exactly where to click, what each service offers, how to get in touch, and what happens once someone reaches out.

But that doesn't mean your potential clients do.

So here's a quick challenge for you this week... Experience your business like you've never see it before!

How to Become Your Own Secret Shopper

1

Google Yourself

First, search your business name. Does your website come up? Is the information that appears accurate and current?

After that, try searching for yourself the way a potential client might. Instead of searching for your business name, search for words or phrases that describe what service you provide.

What shows up? Would you click on the your business based on what you see?

2

Open Your Website on Your Phone

Give yourself about 10 seconds before you scroll. Can you immediately tell:

--> What you do

--> Who you help

and --> What the reader should do next?

Remember, your visitors don't have the context you do. If they have to work to understand your business, then you may lose them before they ever even learn how great you are at what you do!

3

Try to Hire Yourself

Pretend you're ready to become a client right now.

How many clicks does it take to book, purchase, schedule a consultation, or inquire? Are your calls to action obvious? Do all of your links work? Are people having to fill out some long form before they've even spoken to you?

Make sure you're not accidentally making it difficult for someone to give you their money.

4

Submit Your Own Contact Form

This one is so commonly overlooked. Fill our your forms exactly like a potential client and see what happens.

Do you receive a confirmation? Does it tell you what happens next? How long should you expect to wait for a response? Does the automated email actually sound like your business?

And the most important thing... Does the inquiry actually reach you?

5

Ask Yourself: Would I Trust this Business?

Look at your website, social media, photos, testimonials, about page, contact information, and recent activity through the eyes of someone who doesn't know you.

Does it feel current? Professional? Genuine? Human?

Your credentials and experience may be incredible, but a potential client can only judge your businesses based on what they see.

Your Challenge for This Week: Find ONE Point of Friction and Fix it

You don't necessarily need a new website, a million more followers, a new certification, or a complete rebrand. Sometimes the best thing you can do for your business is make it easier for the people who are already interested to take the next step.

Your next client might already be looking for you. Make sure they can find you, trust you, and hire you!

Good luck,
