Subject: What Would September You Thank August You For?

A fresh month is around the corner. Here's something to think about before it arrives.

Hi Friend. Can you believe it's already almost August!?

Time is flying! And there's something about this time of year that feels like a fresh start. Kids are heading back to school, teachers are getting classrooms ready, and school nurses... that means you, too! Even if school isn't part of your world, August has a way of bringing a new rhythm. Calendars fill up, routines change, and life starts moving just a little bit faster.

That got me thinking...

Imagine it's the middle of September. You've settled into your new routine, the back-to-school rush has calmed down, and you've found your footing again.

What would September You thank August You for doing?

Maybe it's not having the perfectly color-coded calendar or checking every box on your to-do list. Maybe it's something much simpler.

Here are a few things we tend to forget every August:

1

You don't have to say yes to everything.

A full calendar doesn't always mean a fulfilling one.

2

As life changes, your routine can change too.

Yes, the non-negotiables will always be there, but the routines that worked last year may not be the ones you need this year. Give yourself permission to make changes.

3

Busy doesn't always mean productive.

Leave room for the people, hobbies, and moments that recharge you.

4

You deserve to be on your own calendar, too.

Whether it's a walk, a workout, reading a book, getting a monthly massage or simply doing nothing for a little while, don't wait until you're burned out to make time for yourself.

5

Small habits are easier to keep than big promises.

One small change today can have a bigger impact than trying to overhaul your entire routine overnight.

Next month doesn't have to be about doing more.

Sometimes it's about deciding what matters most before life starts making those decisions for you.

So here's to fresh starts, new routines, and making space for the things that matter most.

Wishing you a wonderful August!

Kindly,
