A Note From Nena

Hi Nurses,

First off, I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who made NNBA 2025 in Vegas so special!

From the hugs and real conversations to the lightbulb moments, laughter, and even a few tears, everyone that attended brought their whole heart from the very first keynote to the final goodbye, and it meant the world.

To be honest, I was nervous stepping into this year as NNBA’s new president. Hosting my first conference came with a lot of pressure. I wanted to honor our legacy and also bring something fresh. But what happened in those rooms gave me more clarity and inspiration than I could’ve imagined.

You all reminded me why this work matters and just how powerful nurses are when we come together with purpose!

I’m so grateful for every single one of you who traveled, spoke, volunteered, sponsored, shared, taught, and showed up with openness and courage.

And the best part is that this is just the beginning.

We’re already dreaming up what’s next and we’re listening. If you’ve got ideas, keep them coming. This next chapter is going to be built with you, for you.

Thank you for being part of this movement. I can’t wait to see what we all create together.

With love and gratitude,

Nena

Writing Your First Email Funnel

A simple email funnel helps turn interest into action. It can help you build trust and gently guide subscribers toward your offer. Start with 3–5 emails, spaced 1–2 days apart:

1. Welcome Email
Introduce yourself, set expectations, and share why your work matters.

2. Problem & Possibility
Highlight a common challenge your audience faces, and show what’s possible with your support.

3. Value-Add
Offer a quick win—like a tip, insight, or free resource—to build trust and authority.

4. Clear Invitation
Make a direct ask: book a call, sign up, or buy. Include the CTA more than once.

5. Social Proof or Reminder
Use testimonials or urgency to reinforce the value of your offer and encourage action.

Bonus Tips:

  • Use subject lines that spark curiosity, urgency, or relevance.

  • Write like a human, not a marketer or AI robot! A personal, conversational tone builds connection.

Done right, your first email funnel can nurture leads while you sleep and set the stage for real results!
