Golden Opportunity
A moment can change a life; as nurses we know this better than most people. The 29th Nurse Entrepreneurship Conference in October can change your career and life. In the generation that has past since the NNBA was formed, thousands of nurses have benefited from attending the conference and have launched new careers. Come join us and hear
nationally acclaimed speakers and nurse experts. Meet nurses from all over the country and form friendships in addition to potential business partnerships. You can see why I call it a golden opportunity! Learn more about the conference and register by clicking here.

Newsletter Changes
The NNBA Newsletter will incorporate a couple of new features and I need your help. We're changing the caption of “a few laughs…” to “Lighten Up…” where we will incorporate a blog from some of our wonderful nurse bloggers. Please send me a link to one of your blogs that would be about humor, stress relief, etc, all keeping with the theme of lightening up and I will do my best to make sure it is included in an upcoming newsletter. This is a great opportunity to highlight and serve our members at the same time. A win-win! Please use the contact form on to send me a message and a link to one of your blogs that you would like to see appear.

I have been asked to give some tips and training as I used to with my Unconventional Nurse® Newsletter. I made the decision when taking over the helm of the NNBA that I would only work on one newsletter because I know my limitations! Thank you for requesting this type of information and I will start including a “Success Tip” section to the NNBA newsletter.

I cannot believe we are in the last days of summer. Time has definitely flown the last few months. Thank you for all your comments, suggestions and continued support.

I don’t usually advise about taking medicine but in this case I am. I personally take this medicine several times daily. It not only helps my personal life but helps my professional life a great deal, often when nothing else can help. Yep, I’m talking about laughter; laughter is the best medicine.
