A Note From Nena

Hi Nurses,

When I look back at NNBA 2026 in Scottsdale, I'm honestly a little overwhelmed, in the best way.

Watching nurses from all over the country walk into that room, not as strangers, but as colleagues who already understood each other, reminded me exactly why we started this organization in the first place.

To every speaker who shared their hard-won wisdom, every sponsor and exhibitor who believed in this community enough to show up for it, and every attendee who took time away from your busy lives to be there: thank you. You are the NNBA.

I hope you left Scottsdale the way I did: inspired, a little tired (the good kind), and already thinking about what's possible next.

In fact, we already have some exciting plans brewing for NNBA 2027. I can't share everything yet, but I promise it's going to be worth the wait.

Until then, keep doing the incredible work you do. I'm proud to be a part of this community!

With gratitude,

Nena

Nurses often sit on years of clinical knowledge without realizing it's monetizable. Does this resonate with you?

Thought leadership isn't about being the loudest voice, it's about being the most consistent one on a topic people already trust nurses to know.

As a nurse entrepreneur, here's how to build it:

  • Pick one problem you're uniquely positioned to solve.

  • Talk about it consistently, in your own voice, across every platfor you show up on

  • Start small: one social media post a week, same theme, for a month

Do this for a month, and watch who starts reaching out!

You've given so much to others — it's time to invest in you. The S.C.A.R.S. Trauma Recovery Program is an 8-week intensive healing journey built by those who've lived it, for those still carrying it.

Through live weekly Zoom sessions, a personal 1:1 coaching call, and a transformative 2-day in-person Wellness Weekend Retreat. You'll move through what's been holding you back and arrive at a place of deep healing and lasting peace of mind. Gain a Certificate of Completion and trauma-informed tools for work, home, and on the go. Limited to 10 participants.
