Dear Nurses,

Frequently asked questions on the NNBA Conference are addressed in this letter. This is a must read for those nurses attending, and a great overview for those we hope will join us!

A dedicated webpage for the NNBA is available for attendees to book their hotel rooms online. Reservations can be made directly. If you are unable to book your reservation on-line, you may call the hotel directly. When making reservations, make sure you give the group code, “NAT0719”.

Registration will take place at the Registration Desk in front of the SONOMA Ballroom on the Second Floor Convention Center.

Wednesday, August 2nd, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm
Thursday, August 3rd, from 7:00am to 1:00pm
Thursday, August 3rd, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm
Friday, August 4th, from 7:00am to 9:00am
Saturday, August 5th, from 7:00am to 8:30am

Only people signed in as registered at the registration desk are permitted in conference rooms. Badges must be visible to enter the conference rooms.


Dress is Business Casual. You’ll be listening and taking notes and we want you to be comfortable but remember that you will be networking and taking pictures with incredible nurses from all over the country. We suggest layers because the AC may be chilly to some and not cold enough for others. Also be sure to wear comfortable shoes because there is always a lot of walking.

Receiving CEs?

Instructions for receiving CEs are being placed in your conference bag. Make sure that you have signed in legibly for the conference and any preconference’s that you are attending. 

Start times Thursday, Friday, & Saturday?

Preconference workshops begin Thursday at 8:00am and 1:00pm. You can choose one of each of the two options. The two pre-conferences at 8:00AM are:

The Meet & Greet Reception is included for registered conference attendees only. The reception is from 5:00 – 7:00PM and in Sonoma.

The Main Conference begins at 8:15AM on Friday and at 8:30AM on Saturday. Registration opens at 7:00AM, please be registered beforehand, and when entering and leaving the conference room, handle doors softly so not to interrupt the speaker and listening attendees. No one is permitted in the conference rooms without a name badge.

Finish Time on Saturday?

The conference content will be completed by 4:00PM.

Remember that Friday and Saturday your Networking Luncheons are included in your Conference Registration! You are on your own for breakfast and dinner. Coffee, tea, and water stations will be available in the mornings.

Reminders and Tips:
  1. Make sure to leave a little extra room in your luggage. You will be receiving a conference bag with a conference program, a few conference give-a-ways.
  2. Dress in layers. Conference rooms are known to be cold so we want to make sure you are comfortable.
  3. Bring your camera (phone) so you can take plenty of pictures and share them on your socials. Share with hashtag #NNBA2023
  4. Recording audio or video of the stage, speakers and any parts of presentations is not permitted. The conference content is protected, copyrighted material.
  5. Plan for fun and an interactive learning experience with NNBA 2023’s Survivor Game, the Entrepreneur’s Edition. *Prizes and awards given.
