,Conference FAQ:

1) Dress? Dress is Business Casual. You’ll be sitting in the Pavilions for the main sessions and lunch and the Ballrooms for the preconferences and breakout sessions. You’ll be listening and taking notes and we want you to be comfortable but remember that you will be networking and taking pictures with incredible nurses. We have a photographer and videographer that will also be snapping and filming at times. We suggest dressing in a professional, business-casual style.

2) Registration Times? All registration will take place at the registration booth next to the FedEx location in the convention/meeting facilities. Thursday 4:30-7PM, Friday 7-8:30AM, 12-1:30PM, 4-6PM, Saturday 7-9AM, Sunday 7-8AM. Only people signed in at the registration booth are permitted in, and badges must be worn to enter the conference rooms.

3) Receiving CEs: Dr Renee Thompson is handling the CEs for the event. You must fill out evaluation forms, and sign in to be eligible for CEs.

4) Start times Friday, Saturday & Sunday: Preconference workshops begin Friday at 8AM and 1PM. The Meet & Greet Reception is included for registered attendees. This begins at 5PM in Ballroom D across from registration. Saturday’s Main Conference begins at 8:30AM. Sunday’s Main Conference begins at 8:15AM. Please be registered beforehand, and when entering and leaving the conference room, handle doors softly so not to interrupt the speaker and listening attendees.

5) Finish Time on Sunday? We will be done no later than 3:30PM

6) Meeting Rooms Location? All conference rooms are in the conventions/meeting facilities space off the lobby of the hotel down the right hallway. As soon as you are registered and have your program, you will see area maps of the hotel. Pavilions 1 & 2 and Ballrooms D, E, F & G.

7) Make sure you filled out your conference breakout sessions selection form: If you haven’t I am including it here: https://nnbanow.com/concurrent-breakout-sessions-selection/

8) Transportation and Dining? Transportation from McCarran Airport can be arranged via hotel shuttles by Bell Tran which are inexpensive. Just go outside after you get your luggage, and there will be a booth to pay for the shuttle. They will tell you where to go from there. You can pay for your return trip at that time and they will give you the number to call the day before you leave to set up your time for pick-up. If there are a few of you, it would be cheaper to get a Taxi. There is also Uber and Lyft. Once at the hotel, there is a monorail right outside the side entrance of the Westgate that is inexpensive and fun to go anywhere on the strip. For the variety of dining options at the Westgate, click here:

9) Additional Questions? If you have questions about the event, please email clumsden@nnbanow.com

10) Reminders and Tips:
   a) Make sure to leave a little extra room in your luggage. You will be receiving a conference bag with a conference program, a few conference give-a-ways, pens, etc.
   b) Dress in layers. Conference rooms are known to be cold so we want to make sure you are comfortable.
   c) Bring your camera (phone) so you can take plenty of pictures and share them. Share on #NNBA2018 and

You can’t escape it… no matter what business you’re in these days, you need to have an online presence to be successful. In every industry and in every niche, no matter what product you sell or service you provide… whether your business is bricks-and-mortar or completely on the Internet… prospects and customers need to be able to find you online. They’re already looking for you… so make sure you’re not “hiding.”

Truth is that people are on the Internet more than ever these days, for work and fun. There are 290 million Internet users in the United States alone. And they’re researching products and services when they’re surfing the web—and buying them too.
You can find pretty much anything online. However, it can be difficult to sort through the abundance of content. Luckily, with a few hacks, you’ll be on your way to find anything you’re looking for with Google.

Your first step should always be to use Google’s quick answers, the results that pop up in the outlined box at the top of a search results page. To get the most out of quick answers, be as specific as possible. For example, if you are searching for a flight update, type in the airline and flight number. Google’s quick answers will show that flight information at the top on the page. Tip: the more exact you are, the better.
It can be tempting to look at successful people and think they've been luckier than everyone else. Maybe. But more likely they're just better at creating opportunities and opening doors. Here's advice from more than a dozen high-achieving executives on how to do it.

1. Perfect your ask.

"Leading a startup accelerator, I can tell you there is no denying the power of a great pitch. No matter your industry, role or goals, good listening skills are a necessity, but it's critical to perfect your ask. Have a well-honed standard for what you're good at, what you love to do, and what you're looking for, and take advantage of every opportunity where you can share that narrative with people who can open doors. Fortune favors the bold."
