Hi Nurses,
As we get closer to NNBA 2026, I find myself getting more excited by the day!
This will be my sixth NNBA conference, but only my second as President. Sometimes it still feels a little surreal. Years ago, I attended my first NNBA conference (virtually, in a closet!) looking for guidance, inspiration, and a community of nurses who believed there was more than one path forward. The NNBA had such a profound impact on my professional journey, and I never imagined that one day I would have the honor of leading the very organization that helped shape it.
Of course, like every year, I'm looking forward to the presentations, the conversations, and the connections that always make the NNBA conference so special. But I'm also excited about where we'll be gathering this year: The Scottsdale Resort & Spa.
As nurses, we're often focused on taking care of everyone else. We spend our careers helping, supporting, and showing up for others, sometimes forgetting to create space for ourselves along the way.
That's why I hope you'll take some time to enjoy everything the resort has to offer while you're with us. Whether that's a quiet morning coffee on the property, relaxing by the pool, or treating yourself to one of the wonderful spa services, I encourage you to embrace the experience.

Sometimes our best ideas don't come during a presentation or a meeting. They come when we finally slow down enough to think, reflect, and breathe.
NNBA has always been about more than building a business. It's about creating a life and career that aligns with your goals, your values, and your vision for the future. My hope is that you'll leave Scottsdale with new knowledge, meaningful connections, fresh inspiration, and perhaps a little more rested than when you arrived.
Thank you for being part of this incredible community. I can't wait to welcome you to Scottsdale in just a few short weeks.
