Hi Nurses,
Lately, I’ve been reflecting on how grateful I am for taking the risk to become a business owner. That choice gave me the opportunity to build a life where my work aligns with my priorities.
It’s still hard—some days are exhausting—but I no longer have to ask for permission to adjust my schedule, be present for my family, or make space for what truly matters. That kind of freedom is what fuels me—and it’s what I want for other nurses, too.
A few weeks ago, my oldest son was admitted to a Level One trauma center after an accident that resulted in a TBI. By God’s grace, he has almost completely healed—and I’m so deeply grateful.
I’m also grateful my time wasn’t at the mercy of someone else. I didn’t have to ask for coverage to be there when my family needed me.
Grateful I wasn’t working back-to-back 12s, wondering who would care for my other three children while my husband stayed at the hospital.
Grateful I wasn’t tied to running a facility—fielding calls and emails while worrying about my child.
This is why I believe so strongly in what we’re building at the NNBA.
If you desire more freedom and flexibility but need a push—or just want a fresh dose of motivation—come to the NNBA 2025 Conference. We’ve redesigned it to meet you exactly where you are:
If you’re pivoting, we’ve got strategy.
If you’re building, we’ve got structure.
If you’re reconnecting with your why, we’ve created the space to help you remember it.
This conference is about real-life support, real business tools, and a community of nurses who get it.
Join us in Las Vegas. It’s been life-changing for me—and I believe it will be for you too. And we’ve got some BIG announcements for NNBA 2026 coming your way!
