NGLA Welcomes New Volunteer Coordinator and Assistant Executive Director
The Northeast Greek Leadership Association announces the appointment of a new Volunteer Coordinator and Assistant Executive Director. Emily Perlow, Executive Director, states, “I’m thrilled to tap the talents of two longtime volunteers, Katie and Kevin. Their expertise, passion, and vision will help advance the great work we are doing as we engage in our new strategic plan.”

Katie serves as the Associate Director for Fraternity & Sorority Life at Pace University Westchester. Immediately after graduating Davis and Elkins College with a Master of Arts in English, Katie went to graduate school for Student Affairs in Higher Education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). She received her Masters of Art in Student Affairs in May 2010 and began working at La Salle University as the Community Coordinator for Greek Life in November 2010.

Katie is an active volunteer in her sorority, Theta Phi Alpha, currently serving as the National Vice President of Collegians. She has been active with NGLA since 2011 serving on the Awards Committee for the Annual Conference, as the Volunteer Leader in charge of the communications team, and now, as the Volunteer Coordinator. In her personal time, Katie enjoys spending time exploring new places, finding new restaurants, and playing with her dog Josie.

"I am excited about the opportunity to connect people with the mission and vision of the Association because I believe that the programs and community of NGLA adds value to the fraternal experience in the Northeast."
