NGLA Welcomes New Member to the Board of Directors
The Northeast Greek Leadership Association announces the appointment of a new member to the board of directors. Serving a three-year term, which begins in August 2018, Katie Hartmann joins the board after having served the Association as the Volunteer Coordinator for several years.

Emily Perlow, Executive Director, states, “Katie has a keen eye toward identifying what needs to be done to ensure volunteers are welcomed and appreciated. I am thrilled that she will bring this same warmness, perspective, and expertise to help work toward advancing the NGLA strategic plan.”

Katie currently serves as the Executive Director of Theta Phi Alpha Fraternity. Prior to working at Theta Phi Alpha Fraternity, Katie worked as the Associate Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life at Pace University. Katie has been involved as a volunteer for NGLA since 2011.
Katie earned her Bachelor's in English from Davis and Elkins College and her Master's in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

“After serving the association in various roles for the last seven years, I'm excited to serve as a member of the board of directors. I have found the most fulfilling professional development in serving as a volunteer for NGLA. I look forward to bringing my experience as a volunteer to the board and providing more meaningful experiences for members in the northeast.”
