Thank You to the Outgoing Executive Director Michael Davis The Northeast Greek Leadership Association offers great appreciation for outgoing executive director, Michael Davis. Michael has served as the executive director since 2021 and will continue to serve on the Board of Directors. Michael Davis states, “Leading NGLA for the past two years has been an opportunity like no other — one that I am grateful for due to the incredible team of volunteers that has allowed NGLA to dream big and achieve even more. When I started in this role, I noticed quickly that in order for NGLA to maximize our mission, we needed to expand our capacity through a more sustainable model. I am thrilled to see NGLA move forward under the leadership of Tom Murphy and Katie Hartmann and am grateful for the opportunity to remain on the board supporting NGLA’s vision."
Chairman Katie Hartmann states, “Michael’s tenure as the executive director of NGLA saw the Association through the return to in-person events post COVID-19 related restrictions. This return to in-person events came with its own precautions and hesitations. Michael led NGLA through it with grace. Additionally, he was instrumental in hiring our first paid executive director. This pivotal governance change will inevitably have a long-lasting effect on the reach and opportunities available to NGLA. We were honored to have Michael in this leadership role and are happy to have him complete his term as a member of the Board of Directors."
NGLA is grateful for Michael’s service to advance the Association.
