Message from the Executive Director
Reflecting on the recent 2024 NGLA Annual Conference, it's incredible to think how swiftly time passed during our shared moments. Looking forward, I eagerly anticipate our reunion next year in Baltimore, Maryland. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you who journeyed from afar to enrich your knowledge, leadership skills, and networking connections.
This year witnessed a notable surge in attendance compared to our last Annual Conference in Pittsburgh. We were truly fortunate to welcome delegations from various corners of the nation, transcending the Northeast. Communities from Miami, Florida to Michigan converged in Hartford, Connecticut to foster collaboration, forge connections, and broaden their horizons. We deeply appreciate the sacrifices made, be it time away from classes, friends, or loved ones, all in pursuit of personal and communal growth.
A special commendation is owed to our sponsors, speakers, and facilitators whose unwavering dedication underscores NGLA's mission. Your commitment to nurturing leaders across diverse fraternal backgrounds to affect positive change and uphold our shared values is truly commendable.
To our invaluable volunteers, the lifeblood of our association, I extend a heartfelt thank you. Your tireless efforts, both in the lead-up to the conference and on-site, are instrumental in ensuring its success year after year.
We trust that you've forged meaningful connections, acquired fresh insights, and reignited your passion for the fraternity and sorority community. Exciting opportunities lie ahead for NGLA, and we earnestly invite you to join us on this journey. Until then, I wish you continued well-being and success.
