| Monday Poway Adult Ed Class- Beg/Int and Int/Adv classes
6:30 pm Beg/Int class: Let's keep working on the Ojos Asi Choreography…I hope your'e having fun! Did you practice last week? I hope so! Let your friends know about the class, there is always room for more, enroll now!
7:45 pm Int/Adv class: Repetitions coming your way girls! Time to sweat and lose some much needed calories!

| | | Wednesday- Sohaila's Shining Stars Class- All level belly dance class and Choreography class
7-8 pm: You are doing so awesome girls with the dance phrase, you added some movement with it. This week a special request: We are going to work on much need arms, so with the added dance phrase we will concentrate on your arms and hand movements. Get ready to have some fun!
8-9 pm: You all did a great job on resurrecting the 6 minute samir. I like the revised ending, its going to look wonderful. Lets try to incorporate the zills this week with the choreography. Can't wait. Don't worry, you won't be playing zills the full time, only specific places in which we will cover. Please let me know if you got the shared link for the choreography that I filmed from last class. If not let me know and will resend to you. Please note: this is only for those coming to my Wedensday evening class. If you are not coming to this class you will not be able to perform this out in public with the other girls. If you are an online member you have this in your choreography classes. |
| | | Thursday- NewVo at Being Fit gym Mira Mesa class:
7:30 pm: This is always such a fun class. Join in on the fun and stay fit with NewVo…a multicultural inspired fitness class for your body, mind and soul. An all over workout from head to toe, incorporating fun dance moves from around the world in a fitness setting. Using the veils, the sohaila bands and mats!

| | | Friday- Palomar College class- Near and Middle Eastern Dance class course 162, 163, 262 and 263 9:00 am
In just a couple of weeks you will be on stage! So excited when my dancers get onto the dance floor. I feel like such a proud mom!!!! Please keep practicing your cane choreography. I have already sent you the line up and mandatory practice pdf's by your individual emails. Let me know if you didn't get it.
So this week, we will also be covering some other folkloric dance styles. Please read up in your workbooks about Folkloric dance styles in the Near and Middle Eastern workbook. What I will cover this Friday is Persian dance, Khalleeji dance, and Debke. So get ready to have some fun. -------------------------

I always take special requests so if you want to work on a specific muscle group or want to see some more fun inspiring moves, just let me know! Email me and let me know exactly what you would like to focus on..perhaps inner and outer thighs. Possibly the arms….just let me know and I will dedicate the workout to you! Just like Debbra did, she asked if we can focus this last class for inner and outer thighs and gluteus, so we did!

Patio Playhouse in Escondido is proud to be performing Eugene Ionesco’s, Rhinoceros, which runs from March 20-April 19. What a great show it is!!!!
We’re a community theatre whose goals are to entertain, engage, and challenge our audiences. It’s rare that a play does all three as well as Rhinoceros. For sixty years it has sparked discussions about what a free society means and what it requires. And it’s funny as hell.
Rhinoceros is an absurdist farce, often cited as one of the most important dramatic masterpieces of the 20th century. People in a French village, one by one, transform into rhinoceroses. In this absurd world, everyday situations erupt with explosive laughter and nightmare anxiety. Under the cover of absurdity and humor lie lessons of conformity, culture, mass movements, philosophy and morality.
We want to make this play available to theatre arts, sociology and political science students because it addresses issues relevant to their major. And it’s performed so rarely, it’s unlikely they’ll have the opportunity to see it in their lifetime. Here’s what one member of the audience from the opening weekend said about the performance.
"This thought provoking play was presented beautifully, with complex dialogue sequences tightly dialed in. My seats were right up close to the action and it was impossible to not be affected by the intensity of the situation. A perfect work for this intimate theatre."
