A Note from Sohaila.......
Hi Friend,

Keeping your mind open and developing a lifelong lust for learning will keep you young & healthy in spirit. "According to the World Health Organization, active aging is defined as ‘the process of optimizing opportunities for health, participation and security in order to enhance quality of life as people age.’ People can stay active throughout their lifespans by participating in social, cultural, economic, spiritual, and civic affairs . . . Instead of ending education at a specific age, people are encouraged to continue learning throughout their lifetimes, whether on their own through self-directed learning or in adult education and continuing education classrooms.” (Romeo Vitelli, Ph.D., Psychology Today) I totally believe in this! In fact, I recently graduated with my MFA at the age of 50 and I’m always striving to learn more about business, dance, and mind/body/soul fitness.

Here are some ideas for actively aging this fall:

●  Get involved in local festivities. My husband, Angel, is the founder of Herencia Mexicana here in Escondido, CA. It’s a festival that brings together everyone in the city for a day of Mexican culture and fun. Like our Facebook page and join us at this fun event! It’s important to participate in your community and feel a part of something. Volunteering, or even just attending, things like this can keep you feeling inspired.

●  Take a class in something you’re interested in. I teach Belly Dance at Palomar College and Recreation Centers, (check out my class calendar) and I always hear women say “I’ve wanted to try this forever!” Don’t wait. Engage yourself mind/body/soul and do it now!

●  Make time for friends, family, and your significant other. People who spend time with others they love are happier. Happier people live longer and healthier lives. So, make sure that you are hanging out with people who make you feel happy and that you’re fully in the moment with them. Let all the stresses go and just enjoy their company.

These are just a few of my ideas for inspiration. Check out my full list here.

Also don't forget to watch this months interview with Elaine Bryan, Holistic and Wellness coach. Check it out below! If you or someone you know is doing something to empower women I would love to interview them for my Sohaila TV

Don't forget to check out my Event calendar, my dancers and I will be dancing at a few places this month.

If you are interested in taking my belly dance classes, NewVo fitness classes or private coaching, I am available to speak with you for the details, or go to my website Class calendar and see what best suits you. I believe that we all have a message inside us thats just waiting to come out from within, whether it's by voice or by your movement of your body. This is the year to awaken your message. I can't wait to help you find this message this year in class, in my programs and/or in my retreats!

Until next time!

Affiliates

I am excited to help other entrepreneurs get a kick start on getting their programs and products out.
A * next to a name means I’m a fan, and/or a customer, AND an affiliate. If you use my link, I’ll get affiliate credit, and that would be very nice. :-)
Need a boost in your marketing? Thats what I said every month, until I found Sizzle Force Marketing. I met Stephanie last year at a networking event that she was speaking at and immediately I was drawn to her. After her presentation I went to talk with her, needless to say she became my marketing coach! I now have an amazing presentation that I give when I speak and present my programs.
Stephanie just rolled out her long awaited and anticipated program and I jumped at it. I can't wait to get started. In just a few short weeks we will dig deep into what needs to be done to get ourselves up that ladder!
Join me and some other fabulous entrepreneurs with Stephanie's Program; Sizzle Force Academy*! Read more about it here!
