| Monday Poway Adult Ed Class- Beg/Int and Int/Adv classes
6:30 pm Beg/Int class: You girls are doing so great in class. I hope you are practicing at home. This Monday lets finish this choreography, shall we! We will perfect more of the moves so you don't leave frustrated!
7:45 pm Int/Adv class: We had another fun time on another dance phrase, it looks like a hit! Lets keep working on it!

| | | Wednesday- Sohaila's Shining Stars Class- All level belly dance class and Choreography class
7-8 pm: You gals are looking so awesome. Are you seeing how your moves are intertwining? Look at how smooth your transitions are becoming!. A reminder that I have virtual on line classes. This is a great way to watch yourself and really hone in on the movements that you need practicing more of. You can enroll and become a member here.
8-9 pm: All I can say is wow!!!! You girls are doing so awesome, I am a very proud teacher. All of you are doing a great job. The zills with the 6 min. samir choreography was right on. Can't wait to start having you perform this in the upcoming events!

| | | Friday- Palomar College class- Near and Middle Eastern Dance class course 162, 163, 262 and 263 9:00 am
First of all I want to say how proud I am of all of you for all your effort in making your dance(s) so awesome. You all have worked so hard and I want to let you know that I see the work you have put into it, especially this morning when you practiced on stage in the Brubeck theatre. You guys and gals rock!
So please remember about your mandatory practices and show times this coming week:
Monday April 27th Run through the full show from 6PM to 9PM. Please be there by 4:30 pm in the Brubeck theatre.
Tuesday April 28th Tech /Lighting ACT I 5PM to 11PM. Fan Veils are in the first act, so please be there no later than 7:30 pm. You will do your lighting at 8 pm.
Wednesday April 29th Tech /Lighting ACT II 5PM to 11PM. Cane dance will be in the second act. Please be there no later than 7:30 pm
Thursday April 30th Dress rehearsal with costumes and FULL Make up. All dancers should be there by 5pm. Photos will be taken on this evening and full show will be recorded.
Friday and Saturday May 1st and 2nd Show 7PM.
Sunday May 3rd Show 2PM

- Robert and Heather will be in charge, so please check in with them when you arrive.
- Robert will have your hip scarves and canes. Please do not leave the theatre without keeping your costumes there with Robert. Thank you so much.

I always take special requests so if you want to work on a specific muscle group or want to see some more fun inspiring moves, just let me know! Email me and let me know exactly what you would like to focus on..perhaps inner and outer thighs. Possibly the arms….just let me know and I will dedicate the workout to you! Just like Debbra did, she asked if we can focus this last class for inner and outer thighs and gluteus, so we did!

THIS JUST IN FOR ALL STUDENTS!
Patio Playhouse in Escondido is proud to be performing Eugene Ionesco’s, Rhinoceros, which runs from March 20-April 19. What a great show it is!!!!
We’re a community theatre whose goals are to entertain, engage, and challenge our audiences. It’s rare that a play does all three as well as Rhinoceros. For sixty years it has sparked discussions about what a free society means and what it requires. And it’s funny as hell.
Rhinoceros is an absurdist farce, often cited as one of the most important dramatic masterpieces of the 20th century. People in a French village, one by one, transform into rhinoceroses. In this absurd world, everyday situations erupt with explosive laughter and nightmare anxiety. Under the cover of absurdity and humor lie lessons of conformity, culture, mass movements, philosophy and morality.
We want to make this play available to theatre arts, sociology and political science students because it addresses issues relevant to their major. And it’s performed so rarely, it’s unlikely they’ll have the opportunity to see it in their lifetime. Here’s what one member of the audience from the opening weekend said about the performance.
"This thought provoking play was presented beautifully, with complex dialogue sequences tightly dialed in. My seats were right up close to the action and it was impossible to not be affected by the intensity of the situation. A perfect work for this intimate theatre."
