| Monday Poway Class- Beg/Int/ Belly Dance
Our 6:30 pm class is underway: You gals are really getting the hang of belly dancing, look at you last week working hard on those fun moves, the pivots, the basic walk, awesome. Lets keep the momentum going. Looking forward to this week adding on some more fun moves!

| | Tuesday San Marcos Class- NewVo Fitness
This
is always a fun class. Held at San Marcos Civic Center in the dance room with mirrors. 6:30-7:30 pm. It's great seeing you girls keep a smile on your
face and keeping up with the pace. It looks like you are really getting
the moves, thats awesome. Keep up the energy and will see you next

| | Wednesday Sohaila's Shining Stars Class- All level belly dance class and Choreography 7 pm - 9 pm
7-8 pm: So last week we worked on Stage Presence which is so important especially when you want to start a good impression and leave with a good impression in front of an audience. This last class we worked on just how you can hold that audience in the palm of your hand. Wow, you girls did so awesome. This week we will go over rhythms/patterns and get you understanding and counting down beats in music. Then adding music on top of those beats. You will get a better understanding of how your music sounds.
8-9 pm: Looking forward to working on the masquerade, 6 min. Samir, and Khalleeji. If time permits and you would like to stay after class to work on your specific dances you are more then welcome to.

| | Thursday Being Fit Class- NewVo Fitness
We
had a few new NewVo participants this last week, this is so great to
see. I love the energy in this class. Keep telling your friends to come
and have fun!

| | Friday Palomar College Class
This week we continued with our Folkloric dances, focusing on Persian, Debke, and Beledi, with some more Saidi cane. As an added bonus we learned how to roll a quarter on your stomach, now you know what it takes to get those stomachs rolls going!
Can you believe we are almost throughout with class?! We only have two more classes to go, I can't believe we are almost through with this session, it went by fast…too fast!I do have a summer class available. I hope you will be interested in taking the course, it will be a 6 week class, with classes on Tuesday and Thursdays from 10-11:50 am.
We are getting close to the opening for the faculty show. Don't forget to put all
the rehearsal dates in your calendar and tell your work that you have to
take those days off or reschedule you. We have three shows, May 9th,
10th, and a matinee on the 11th. How exciting girls! Again here are the
dates to add to your calendar:

To
reiterate: The Faculty Show this year will be on these dates plus
rehearsal times. Please schedule and pencil these times accordingly in
your calendar. Thanks girls. Looking forward to start teaching you the
Ojos Asi Choreography by Shakira. Also I would like the
intermediate/advanced girls to do the drum choreography "A bunch of
Girls".

Tuesday May 6th Tech /Lighting ACT II 5PM to 11PM if you are in Ojos Asi be here. Remember to be there one hour before you are to practice. I will meet you there.
Wednesday May 7th Dress Rehearsal (we may stop to fix if needed) Mandatory. Remember to be there one hour before you are to practice. I won't be able to be here for this practice with you, but you will do great.
Thursday May 8th Dress rehearsal with costumes and FULL Make up Mandatory
Friday and Saturday May 9th and 10th Show 7PM Mandatory
Sunday May 11th Show 2PM Mandatory

| | | Suggested Practice Sessions for up coming Events: There are no practice sessions scheduled at this time. We are using Monday and Wedensday evenings ONLY for practicing, either during class and after class.
Sunday, May 18th and Sunday May 25 -Mandatory Practice and Run through ALL the choreography's and Show 11 am both days, mark your calendars.
