Is Patience REALLY a Virtue?

Playing the waiting game is no picnic, whether you're waiting for a bus or train or waiting to get off a college's waitlist.

Being deferred can add extra tension for students anxious to get their results.

While the dynamics of college deferrals are changing as a result of COVID-19, there are important things to know about them and the follow-up strategies for families put in that position.

Here's some advice on how you might change that "Deferral" to "Accepted."

Testing! Testing! This Is Your Dean Speaking...

While the door to a college dean's office may be open, students don't necessarily feel it is open to them.

Recently, a number of deans have sought to change that image of themselves.
Many have stepped up their game and reached out to their students by way of blogs, podcasts, and books.

Will it alter the way faculty and their student bodies view them? Some do seem to be making inroads.

In that way, whatever you decide will be coming from an educated standpoint.

In this video we discuss the basics with Angela Colatriano of College Ave Student Loans.

My goal is to provide affordable services, insightful information and access to actionable data so your family can make more informed decisions about college.
