Who Doesn’t LOVE Surprises?!?

We are heading into the homestretch of our BUILD A PERFECT COLLEGE LIST 5-Day Challenge.

There is just one night left (but you can still sign up), TONIGHT — the big culmination — where you will actually create your list.

In addition, we’ve got some great surprises in store for all the members of the Pop-Up Group, so make sure you are on hand for the Thursday night part of the Challenge.

Remember, the College List drives the process, and there’s still time to get in on the journey.

So far, we’ve discussed the Academic Fit, Non-Academic Fit, number of schools to apply to, college vists, and so much more. Russ Vitale and Marisa Meddin have gone over these in great detail, all in order to get you to the final day, and the finish line.

If you're a family with a high school junior and you'd love a crack at winning $1300 worth of college counseling and resources, sign up below for our random drawing. Then make sure you watch our final Facebook Live of our 5 Day Challenge. You can watch it here.

The Lion and the Lamb

March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb, so why not have your student stay in for the lion part of the month, and apply to these scholarships that all have deadlines in March?

Once all that work is completed, they’ll be ready for the “lamb” part of the month and can then head out into the sunshine. They can find a great list of scholarships here.

Student Loans - Federal & Private

Members in our Paying For College 101 group are starting to ask about loans, federal and private. Don't feel rushed, there's plenty of time to make decisions. NOW is the time to start researching.

Always take advantage of federal student loans first, but then start doing some homework to compare private loans to the parent plus loans.

A good place to start is to review this chart, comparing different loan features that lenders offer.
