Unfortunately, nudging my daughter to get her college essays done was a painful experience.
As most teenagers, she procrastinated and procrastinated and waited till the last minute.
She got them done, but it would have been so much nicer to have a few extra weeks to have more time to revise and edit.
As a professional writer recently shared,"All good writing is revised writing. Expect your essays to go through at least 5 drafts."
So if you want help making sure your student starts their essays now and possibly finishes them by early September, consider signing your student up for our Find Your Voice college essay workshop, which starts THIS Sunday.
We collaborated with Anna Ren, of Elite Advantage Prep, to offer an online, in-depth workshop for students, to get them started on writing their essays NOW.
To make sure students get the attention they need, the workshop is limited to 15 students, but we still have a few spots left.
When: Sundays, August 18th AND August 25th at 7:30 - 9pm EST

Anna will work with students to brainstorm unique topics and real-life stories to help reflect who your student truly is.
She will also show students how to use writing techniques, including anecdotes, dialogue, and sensory detail that will help create powerful essays.
In the second session, Anna will review essay drafts, while students self-edit and polish essays to ensure they are engaging, meaningful and memorable.
All participants will have access to a private Facebook group till September 1st for additional support.
