Fortunately, there has been a recovery of the worldwide economy. In addition to that, a backlog of requirements has built up in many sectors, generating even more demand for many materials. This combination has led to an increased demand worldwide and affects raw material markets (steel,
copper, rare earths, wood, etc.) as well as components (electronic components, printed circuit boards,
screws, etc.).
Unfortunately, the resulting consequences have been clearly visible for some time now in the form
of price increases and delivery delays.
So far, we have been able to absorb this development due to long-term planning and stockpiling. Like
many other companies, we are dependent on the worldwide networking of supply relationships and
cannot avoid informing you about the following changes due to the ongoing situation:
1. delivery dates
All delivery dates, including those in order confirmations, are non-binding unless we
expressly confirm a binding delivery time in writing.
2. delivery quantities
We expressly reserve the right to make partial deliveries.
3. prices
Due to our increased purchase prices, we will increase our prices with effect from 01.07.2021.
Existing orders will, of course, still be executed at the prices already confirmed in accordance with the
information from points 1. and 2. of this letter. The same applies to confirmed framework agreements.
Due to the currently unforeseeable future developments, we will review the prices on a monthly basis and,
if necessary, make further price adjustments in due course.
We assure you that we will continue to check every option in order to keep the impact as low as possible.
As soon as the situation on the markets calms down and the procurement situation allows it, we will also
pass on falling prices to our customers.
In view of our many years of good cooperation, we trust that we will be able to master this difficult
