Who Should Attend: Senior representatives from companies currently engaged in trade with Canada and/or Mexico who would like to learn more about the Agreement and would like an opportunity to engage directly with the U.S. Department of Commerce's top legal officer.
The United States - Mexico - Canada Agreement (USMCA) has significant impact for many industry sectors. In 2018, Wisconsin exports to Canada were $7.03 billion and exports to Mexico were $3.4 billion. Exports to Mexico alone were up 8% from 2017.

USMCA is a new agreement to re-balance and modernize the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). USMCA will better serve the interests of American workers, farmers and ranchers, and businesses. The agreement supports trade that are mutually beneficial and will lead to freer markets, fairer trade and robust economic growth.

New North Inc., invites business and industry leaders to visit with Mr. Julian Adem Diaz de Leon, Consul of Mexico. In his presentation, Mr. deLeon will highlight the trade partnership with the U.S. along with the core achievements in the USMCA. From machinery, processed food, paper, and other goods, Wisconsin producers are impacted by this new trade deal.
