OSHKOSH - A special moment on the graduation stage for a mother and her son on Sunday, both getting their diploma at the same time from Fox Valley Technical College in Oshkosh.
While most ceremonies like this focus on a single graduate, Sunday’s celebration was the exception at Fox Valley Technical College for Maureen Fogarty, and her son, Timothy Ozminkowski, both walking across the stage.

Lakeshore Technical College is receiving over $1.2 million of the $20 million unanimously approved May 7 by the state’s Joint Finance Committee for Wisconsin’s technical colleges to expand the state’s oral healthcare workforce. The funds will support the college’s recently announced plans to add an accredited dental hygiene associate degree program.
