GREEN BAY - Stewart Larsen, father of a second grader and a kindergartener, counts himself blessed that his workplace arranged child care for his children.

Larsen works for Camera Corner Connecting Point in downtown Green Bay, which is a technology retail store and offers IT and AV expertise to clients. Camera Corner often needs employees to work out in the field or on-site for clients.

So Camera Corner CEO Rick Chernick arranged for his employees' children to attend online school in downtown Green Bay's YMCA program.

The family-owned business loaned the program Google Chromebooks and iPads, and the Chernicks' family foundation subsidizes.....

Construction of multi-family residential development, dubbed TitletownFlats, in Green Bay, Wisconsin has begun. The seven-storey building will entail 152 apartments, that will showcase high-level design details to reflect Northeast Wisconsin.

UW-Green Bay new campus composter diverts thousands of pounds of food waste from landfills

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Many of us don’t think twice about what happens to our left over Thanksgiving meals or table scraps; but where its campus food waste is going, is at the top of student’s minds at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay.

Students are working to keep hundreds of pounds of food waste out of the landfill with the help of the new campus composter.

“We’ve put about 15,000 pounds of food waste into it already, considering, that’s a lot. We’re averaging about 400 pounds of food waste per day that’s going in there,” said Grant Winslow, associate director of operations for the University Union.

KAUKAUNA, Wis. (WFRV) – The COVID-19 pandemic has made visiting nursing homes to see your loves ones nearly impossible, but one local nursing home is looking to change that – by using a robot.

St. Paul’s Elder Services in Kaukauna is taking part in a Telepresence Robotics Pilot Project with Rolly the Robot.
