More than half of all businesses responding to the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh’s sixth monthly survey to monitor the COVID-19 impact in Wisconsin shows access to broadband internet is limiting employees’ ability to work from home.
Responding businesses pointed to internet bandwidth (53%) and availability
(29%) as significant barriers, even though only 15% indicated lack of access limits their ability to offer online services.And only a quarter of respondents have added new online services since the beginning of the pandemic.

Lakeland University has promoted Executive Vice President Beth Borgen, D.B.A., to be the institution’s 18th president. Borgen becomes the first female to lead the institution in its 158-year history. Her selection was made by Lakeland’s Board of Trustees today following a national search.

Bellin Health announced it will open a dedicated respiratory clinic at its Ashwaubenon location next week.

Starting Monday, the space that's an Urgent Care facility on Commanche Ave. will be converted due to current and anticipated increasing COVID-19 cases.

Matthew Valiquette has been appointed the executive director of Bay Area Workforce Development Board beginning January 2, 2021.

Valiquette is a 20-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps who served in the Iraq theater 2004-2009. He also served as Master Instructor at the US Naval Academy 2002-2003. He has been program operations manager at Bay Area Workforce Development Board since 2011.
