Fox Valley Workforce Development Board ready to change the lives of 9 local residents with free apprenticeship training

As part of its commitment to training people for the jobs our region needs to fill, the Fox Valley Workforce Development Board (FVWDB) is offering the opportunity to train up to nine (9) individuals -- absolutely free -- to become a Certified Pre-Apprentice. This incredibly valuable training will be the ticket to opening the door to a lifelong career in the lucrative manufacturing sector.

The FVWDB, based in Neenah, and serving the counties of Calumet, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Waupaca, Waushara and Winnebago, has received a grant to launch a cohort training program which will certify nine (9) individuals to become Industrial Manufacturing Technician Certified Pre-Apprentices. The program has been developed in coordination with the FVWDB, DWD Bureau of Apprenticeship Standards, Fox Valley Technical College, and several local employers.
