Encourage Educational Attainment Ripon College receives supplies from closed Fond du Lac lab WLUK
RIPON -- Equipment from a shuttered laboratory in Fond du Lac is getting new life, helping train the next generation of scientists.
Luxerin Laboratories donated more than $54,000 worth of lab supplies to Ripon College. Biology, chemistry and physics faculty members went to Luxerin Laboratories to pick out supplies they could use in the classroom and lab.
"Looking in the lab rooms gave us an idea that the donation could be huge and really help us out," biology professor Mark Kainz said in a news release. "Once we entered the lab rooms and started looking into cupboards and drawers, the magnitude of the donation grew with each door or drawer we opened.".
