Participation now open for the Northeast Wisconsin Employer Benefit Survey

The Fox Cities Regional Partnership, the economic development division of the Fox Cities Chamber, announces its third annual Northeast Wisconsin Benefit Survey in an effort to help local employers stay competitive in the workplace and position the Fox Cities and surrounding communities as a more competitive region for attracting and retaining the best talent.

The goal of this survey is to gauge the competitiveness of currently offered benefits, as well as inspire employers to brainstorm ways to boost employee engagement and improve overall workplace culture.

Organizations who complete the online survey by August 31st will receive a complimentary digital copy of the survey’s results by October 30th.

Expansion and Business Development in the New North
A well-known name is behind the new Ashwaubenon concert hall

Part of the soon-to-close Gordman's store could soon be converted to a new concert hall owned by Festival Foods CEO Mark Skogen.

Epic Event Center would be owned by Skogen and occupy roughly half of the 60,000-square-foot Gordman's building at 2351 Holmgren Way. The venue would host up to 2,000 people.

Kiel High School hopes to develop welding skills with new equipment

Kiel High School is expanding its welding program.

The school partnered with Lakeshore Technical College and Amerequip to supply 12 brand new welders.

John Michael Kohler Arts Center reopens with COVID-19 safety measures and an exhibition on community connection

The John Michael Kohler Arts Center is open again to the public, and while admission is still free, guests will experience some changes.

Based on guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local and state authorities, the Arts Center has made changes to keep guests and staff safe, according to a news release.

Bergstrom Automotive donates truck to Habitat for Humanity Oshkosh to support mission

The Oshkosh Northwestern 
Bergstrom Automotive has given Habitat for Humanity Oshkosh a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado truck to help build affordable housing in the city.

"Having reliable transportation is critical for our staff and volunteers to efficiently move our tools and equipment to our construction sites," said Tom Simon, executive director for Habitat For Humanity Oshkosh.
