MILWAUKEE— Greg Uhen, Eppstein Uhen Architect’s (EUA) current CEO is announcing leadership team transitions, effective October 1st , with Rich Tennessen moving to CEO, Kristin Dufek named as President and John Chapman as Vice President. Uhen will remain on the Board of Directors through 2023.

EUA is Milwaukee’s largest architecture firm with locations in Milwaukee and Madison, WI and Denver, CO and this marks the next phase of long-term transition planning that has been in the works for over 17 years. Responses sought for annual Fox Cities employer benefit survey
FOX CITIES REGIONAL PARTNERSHIP

FOX CITIES – The 2021 Fox Cities Benefits Survey is open now through Aug. 16 for responses from regional employers. The annual survey is a program of the Fox Cities Regional Partnership—the economic development division of the Fox Cities Chamber—with support from United Way Fox Cities, Child Care Resource Referral, Inc., and the Community Early Learning Center.

A national employee benefits study conducted by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) found that employee retention (72%) and recruiting (58%)—key challenges cited consistently by employers across the Fox Cities region—were the top reasons for increasing benefit offerings. The goal of the Fox Cities Benefits Survey is to gauge the competitiveness of benefits currently offered in our region, as well as inspire employers to brainstorm ways to increase employee satisfaction. Iconic Appleton hotel to undergo re-branding

APPLETON -- The iconic Paper Valley Hotel in downtown Appleton is undergoing a metamorphosis. The Red Lion Hotel Paper Valley will become the Hilton Appleton Paper Valley Hotel late this year or early next year. However, the re-branding is more than just a name change.

For nearly 40 years, the Paper Valley has been a staple on College Avenue in downtown Appleton. Once renovations are completed on the 388-room hotel, the soon-to-be Hilton Appleton Paper Valley Hotel will be part of one of the most recognizable names in hospitality....
