4th observation period of statewide business impact survey open

A fourth observation period of a statewide survey measuring the economic impact of COVID-19 on Wisconsin business is open through July 20. This month’s survey will map both the effects and recovery from the first months of the pandemic, along with travel activities, according to Jeffrey Sachse, director of the UW Oshkosh Center for Customized Research & Services (CCRS).

On July 2, Gov. Evers declared that July 7 through 10 this year would be deemed “Main Street Days” in honor of downtown businesses playing an integral role in Wisconsin’s economy, according to a press release from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.

We are excited to announce the construction of our new $5.5 million, 53,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin that will bring together our branding and marketing agency and our print division, Franzen Graphics, under one roof in 2021. The facility, which is being built by Quasius Construction, will be eco-friendly and provide the ability for every aspect of the Sun Graphics Media Enterprise to operate under one roof, providing efficiencies and cost savings that will be passed on to our customers.

The combined headquarters will house all 46 employees and has the ability to expand to create upwards of 20 more jobs in Sheboygan Falls and surrounding areas. Lakeland University part of historic agreement with technical colleges

Students seeking to transfer credits from any of Wisconsin’s 16 technical colleges to Lakeland University will have a much easier time in the future thanks to a historic, comprehensive agreement signed this week. Lakeland is one of the private, nonprofit colleges and universities participating in the WAICU-WTCS Course Credit Transfer Agreement.

Lakeland has a long history of partnering with Wisconsin’s technical colleges, dating back to Lakeland’s creation of the state’s first bachelor’s degree programs designed for working adults more than 40 years ago. Today, Lakeland’s Kellett School serves approximately 1,800 students in undergraduate and graduate programs through seven Wisconsin....
