Survey Seeks Responses from Northeast Wisconsin Working Women 
UW-Green Bay 

Developed by the University of Wisconsin –Green Bay in partnership with the newly launched Institute for Women’s Leadership and New North, we invite working women across the region to participate in a research opportunity designed to gain regional insights on women in the workplace to inform how the Institute can best serve female professionals in the area and to assist in the attraction, retention, and development of women in our New North region.

The survey is open to all individuals who identify as female and are currently working. It is live on the Institute’s website and remains open through
Friday, July 30. The survey is estimated to take 10 minutes to complete and results are anonymous...

Masters Gallery Foods launches expansion at Oostburg facility
MASTERS GALLERY FOODS

OOSTBURG – Masters Gallery Foods recently began construction to add
110,000 square feet onto its Oostburg packaging and distribution center, bringing the total facility to over 285,000 square feet. The expansion will double the current production area while adding significantly to dry storage, bulk cheese and finished goods warehousing space. Project completion is estimated to be within the second quarter of 2022...

Grant helps Ripon College and Marian University explore partnership

RIPON -- A grant is helping build a bridge between two area colleges.

Ripon College and Marian University in Fond du Lac announced they have jointly received a grant of $50,000 from the Transformational Partnerships Fund to continue to explore a possible alliance.

The grant is funding a summer faculty-led study of how the two institutions might work together academically....

New Rawhide Youth Services equine therapy facility in Fond du Lac now open

FOND DU LAC - Rawhide Youth Services new counseling center and equine therapy facility in Fond du Lac is now open for business.

The newly built Fond du Lac Counseling Center offers six therapy rooms, 12 horse stalls, five licensed therapists and two equine arenas. The facilities expand on much-needed mental health services to more of Wisconsin’s at-risk youth...

Car collectors make Iola Car Show a tradition
WSAW 

IOLA - The Iola Car Show returned for its 49th year this weekend, bringing a large collection of cars to the area. Many people have been attending the car show nearly every year since the beginning, simply “because it’s Iola.”

Dan Nicewander has been attending the show since 1978, when he was a high schooler in Waupaca.

“We just kind of made it a habit. It just became something my buddies and me do. It was just something that became, if you live in Waupaca, you come to Iola,” Nicewander said....

Ribbon cutting celebrates new Eagle Tower

DOOR COUNTY - The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources officially marked the opening of the new Eagle Tower with a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday.

The tower offers panoramic views of Peninsula State Park, local islands and the Upper Michigan shoreline. The DNR describes it as a trendy site for viewing sunsets and taking selfies.

Eagle Tower is 60 feet high. The top observation deck is 253 feet above the Bay of Green Bay. The DNR says it is the only fully accessible wood observation tower of its height in the United States....
