ONEIDA -- Oneida Nation will offer sports betting and event wagering at Oneida casinos and affiliate locations in Wisconsin if approved by federal officials.

Oneida Nation Chairman Tehassi Hill and Gov. Tony Evers made the announcement Thursday as they signed an amendment to the gaming compact.

Fox Cities Performing Arts Center receives $1.3 million grant for hard-hit industries

APPLETON -- The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center has received a $1.3 million grant from a fund to help industries heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Shuttered Venue Operators Grant is worth $1,300,886.95. It was given out by the Small Business Administration from funding from the Economic Aid to Hard-Hit Small Businesses, Nonprofits, and Venues Act.

Applications for the WDVA Non-Profit Grant will be accepted through Friday, July 30, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.

The WDVA Non-Profit Grant is awarded to registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations that provide financial assistance or other services to Wisconsin veterans and their families. The WDVA Non-Profit Grant provides up to $25,000 to each grantee, with a maximum of $250,000 awarded annually...
