The Department of Health Services (DHS) is seeking your assistance in helping Wisconsin employers find a vaccine provider willing to hold an on-site or off-site vaccination clinic to get employees and their families vaccinated.

Workplace vaccination is a critical strategy in boosting vaccination rates by reaching individuals who might otherwise be hard to reach. DHS has been working with vaccine providers to support employers who wish to establish a vaccination clinic for their employees. However, DHS has learned that some employers are struggling to find local vaccine providers who are available to conduct on-site or off-site clinics for employees....

The high rate of Wisconsin residents being vaccinated is bringing customers back into businesses as they feel more comfortable visiting stores and restaurants.

Kohler Co. expanding its northeastern Sheboygan County plant
MILWAUKEE BUSINESS NEWS

Kohler Co. recently began a 155,000-square-foot expansion project to its Kohler Power Group manufacturing facility, located at N7650 County Rd LS in the Town of Mosel in northeastern Sheboygan County.

Kohler Power is the engine and generator manufacturing division for Kohler Co.

The company said the expansion of its Town of Mosel plant will include a “state-of-the-art production and testing space” for large generators above 2,000 kilowatts and increased warehousing, as well as a “world-class customer experience center.”...

As giant crane nears completion in Manitowoc, Gov. Tony Evers praises Broadwind, Konecranes

MANITOWOC  -- Gov. Tony Evers was on hand Thursday to praise completion of a giant crane manufactured in the city that will soon make a voyage through the Great Lakes and down the Atlantic Ocean to a coastal United States Navy station.

The project was made possible with the help of $3.75 million in grant money from the state Department of Transportation’s Harbor Assistance Program. Improvements allowed Konecranes and Broadwind Heavy Fabrications to assemble, test and transfer cranes that can lift 140-ton loads for the Navy. More such contracts are expected to come for the next decade, Broadwind CEO Eric Blashford said...

Stronger footing: Door, Kewaunee counties address vital development issues
