COLOMA -- The Frosts, operators of Frost Farm Alpacas in Coloma, might want to reconsider their definition of “retired.”
Jeanne Frost, one of three sisters, served in the Marines and then had a lengthy career in law enforcement. She wanted to find a hobby after retiring.
“I just thought I’d retire, and when my sisters moved back to the area to be closer, we’d do our little crafty projects together,” Jeanne Frost said. “It had been almost 30 years since we had all been close together and we all have different talents.”...

SHEBOYGAN FALLS - Nicole Butler and her husband, Mike, were milking a cow at the Washington County Fair when a man came up to them and said he didn't know milk was actually white when it came out of a cow.
With agriculture being a big part of their lives and careers, the Butlers were surprised by the man's comment.
That moment sparked an idea: They should buy a farm and open it to the public for people to come and learn about agriculture and life on a farm....

MADISON – A process that will help shape the future of Wisconsin’s forests and forest products industry begins with your ideas.
In collaboration with the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), the Wisconsin Council on Forestry will host two virtual listening sessions to gather ideas and input from the forest products industry, conservationists, recreation enthusiasts and residents. The sessions will take place on May 6 from 2 to 4 p.m., and on May 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. Governor Tony Evers is scheduled to participate in the May 11 session, and Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes is scheduled to join the May 6 session...
