Leadership in the New North Damond Boatwright announced as new CEO and president of Hospital Sisters Health System Green Bay Press Gazette GREEN BAY - Damond W. Boatwright will become the new president and CEO of Hospital Sisters Health System in June, the health system announced Thursday.
He will take over the role from Mary Starmann-Harrison, who retires in July. She was the health system's president and CEO for 10 years.

Economic Development Feature PSC awards $28.4 million to expand high-speed internet in 39 counties Grants given to Door, Florence, Fond du Lac, Kewaunee, Waushara and Winnebago Counties Wisconsin State Journal The Wisconsin Public Service Commission awarded $28.4 million in state funds Thursday to help bring high-speed internet service to underserved communities.
The grants, which will support projects in 39 counties, were the second round to be funded by $48 million included in the 2019 state budget. The PSC voted to award an additional $4.4 million left over from previous years.
According to the grant requests, the 58 projects will extend high-speed internet to as many as 6,159 businesses and 106,000 homes, most of which do not currently have service available... Women's Funds for the Fox Valley Region, Greater Green Bay, Oshkosh Area Community Foundation and Fond du Lac Area have developed a survey to find out how the virus has impacted women and their families on economic and social levels, according to a news release.
“The impact of the pandemic has been devastating for women on all levels – economically, socially, mentally and physically," said Julie Keller, executive director of the Women’s Fund for the Fox Valley Region, in the release. "We have heard the statistics and stories from a national perspective, with this survey we want to capture the impact for women locally in Northeast Wisconsin. The work by Milwaukee-based architectural firm La Dallman earned a citation in the 68th annual Progressive Architecture Awards sponsored by Architect magazine, the journal of the American Institute of Architects, and a rendering of the design is featured on the cover of the magazine's March 2021 issue.

Promote the Regional Brand Florence County’s 2nd Annual Keyes Peak Event Provided Outdoor Entrainment and Boost to Local Tourism Florence County Economic Development Florence, WI… The 58F sunny day drew a huge outdoor crowd to the 2nd Annual Keyes Peak Uphill Truck Drags on Saturday, March 13th. Over 3,500 people watched as four classes of trucks raced side by side up the intermediate run at Keyes Peak Ski Hill. This was a double elimination tournament with over 100 trucks from Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Indiana and Minnesota. $6,000 of prize money went to the following winners...
This event raised money for three local volunteer organizations: Keyes Peak Ski Hill Committee, Blue Ox Trail Riders and the Florence Volunteer Fire Department. Organizers would like to thank the 20 businesses and individuals who donated prize money. Promote the Regional Brand Milwaukee Brewers will use Fox Cities Stadium as training site for Class AAA players Post Crescent GRAND CHUTE – Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium will be an alternate training site for the Milwaukee Brewers starting April 12.
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers' home stadium will host players who will eventually comprise the roster of the Nashville Sounds, the Class AAA affiliate of the Brewers. They will be getting ready for the Triple-A season, which is scheduled to start May 4.
The players who will be training at Fox Cities Stadium will be announced after the Brewers have finalized their opening day roster. Milwaukee opens the regular season April 1 at home against the Minnesota Twins... Read More 8>
