Ariens Company re-enters mower business with RAZOR
THE BUSINESS NEWS

BRILLION – When most people think of Ariens Company outdoor power equipment, they probably immediately think of snowblowers – and for good reason.

Located in Brillion, the company has built its name on snow removal for decades.

Using the same dedication and quality of service, Andy Massignan, director of product for the residential market at AriensCo, said consumers can now add walk-behind mowers to the company’s offerings.

Massignan said Ariens – which has been in operation since 1933 – exited the walk-behind business for several years when the COVID-19 pandemic hit...

THE BUSINESS NEWS

BELLEVUE – With approximately 25,000 vehicles traveling along the Monroe Road commercial corridor in the Village of Bellevue each day – it’s safe to say many have noticed the activity taking place in the area in recent months.

And according to Bellevue Community Development Director Andrew Vissers, it’s likely only the beginning of the new development the village sees in the years to come.

Vissers said there’s also been a “tremendous amount” of interest by developers in the land at the interchange of State Highway 172 and CTH GV (Monroe Road), one of the last largely undeveloped interchanges on the highway system....

New partnership in Green Bay aims to recruit new childcare providers
WBAY

GREEN BAY -- The goal of a new partnership in Green Bay is to recruit new childcare providers.

Local leaders say Brown County lost more than 600 slots for childcare during the pandemic, but they hope a new plan to use federal dollars will help.

The lack of childcare spots throughout the area is being called a crisis.

“It is, it is. I mean, we do referrals for parents who are looking for childcare, and we give them a list and they call back because there’s no openings and then they call back again because they can’t find care,” said Paula Brees, executive director of the Family and Childcare Resource Center of Northeast Wisconsin. “And then if you’re looking at things like second shift care, or before and after school care, it’s even worse.”...
