Multi-tenant building planned in Sturgeon Bay's industrial park

STURGEON BAY -- A Green Bay–based company is planning to add a 50,000-square-foot building and space for about five tenants to the Industrial Park.
The Sturgeon Bay Common Council voted unanimously Feb. 7 to approve a memorandum of understanding (MOU), effective through the end of this year, between the city and Howard Immel, Inc. The company would design and construct the building, and in return, the city would provide the vacant, city-owned former Zak property along South Neenah Avenue and some level of financial incentives for construction.

Alayne Krause confirmed as new Sheboygan County Administrator

SHEBOYGAN -- As expected, the Sheboygan County Board on Tuesday night confirmed Alayne Krause as the new Sheboygan County Administrator. Krause takes the office formerly held by Adam Payne, with whom she served as Deputy Administrator. Payne resigned to accept Governor Tony Evers’ appointment to be the Secretary of the Wisconsin DNR in January.

Give Big Green Bay raises nearly $2.5 million during 24-hour event

OSHKOSH -- As a self-described Type A personality dedicated to supporting education, children and sports, Fox Valley philanthropist Mary Beth Nienhaus is a perfect match to help renovate the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh’s deteriorating baseball field.
