Brown County to vote on Pulliam power plant purchase, key step toward moving coal piles

GREEN BAY, WI – The Brown County Board of Supervisors will not only consider purchasing the Pulliam Power Plant site this week, but also selling a portion of the land to facilitate a multimillion dollar port expansion.
The board on Wednesday will be asked to approve an agreement to buy 43.75 acres of the Pulliam plant site, at the mouth of the Fox River, from Wisconsin Public Service Corp. for $2.7 million. The board will also be asked to approve an agreement to sell 9.7 acres of the parcel to GLC Minerals for about $875,000.....
