The Small Business Development Center at UW-Green Bay will be having the business planning class, Entrepreneurial Training Program, virtual for spring 2021. The class is a great opportunity for current business owners to pivot and create a new strategy. It is equally valuable for upcoming entrepreneurs to thoroughly plan during the economic crisis and be prepared financially to start a viable business.

That’s about how many women make up the ranks of the nation’s truck drivers.

“When I started five years ago, we were about 3 percent of the driver population. We’re up to about 8 percent, but I’d like to see it be more,” she said.

Air Force special ops to be highlighted at this year's EAA AirVenture

The aircraft and personnel of the U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command will be among the highlighted programs at EAA AirVenture this summer.

The event, which was canceled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, is set for July 26-August 1 at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh.

Northwestern Mutual joins NBC stars as investor in Black-owned mobile banking app Goalsetter

Northwestern Mutual Future Ventures, the venture arm of Milwaukee-based life insurance and financial management company Northwestern Mutual, is investing in Goalsetter, a Black-owned mobile banking app.

The New York City-based company's finance app is designed to promote financial literacy among youth and help families save money toward goals, such as vacations or college funds.
